Historic Sites of Manitoba: Chalmers United Church (651 Spruce Street, Winnipeg)

This church on Spruce Street in Winnipeg was designed by local architect Edgar Prain and constructed in 1928 by the firm of Langford and Birch. The building was expanded in 1953. Initially known as Chalmers United Church, in 1977 its congregation merged with that of Greenwood United Church to become McClure United Church. The building continues in use as a nondenominational church.
