Historic Sites of Manitoba: Brown House (488 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg)

Formerly located on Henderson Highway in Winnipeg, a two-storey brick and stucco house, was built in 1929 by the construction firm of Wylie and Compton for lumberman Alexander “Sandy” Brown.

The house has been demolished and the site is now occupied by a multiunit housing complex.
