This two-storey brick and stone building on Pacific Avenue in Brandon, measuring 50 feet by 90 feet, with twin one-storey wings on either side measuring 30 feet by 35 feet, was built between mid-1911 and early 1912 by the Brandon Construction Company at a cost of about $60,000 as a new station for the Canadian Pacific Railway. Featuring terrazzo floors and oak paneling inside, the station opened officially on 1 May 1912.
Now a provincially-designated historic building, it is now used as office space for a local immigrants service agency.
