Historic Sites of Manitoba: Bitter Memories of Childhood Monument (Osborne Street, Winnipeg)

A monument on the west grounds of the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg, unveiled in September 2014, commemorates the millions of victims of the enforced starvation in Ukraine between 1932 and 1933. During this period, many survivors emigrated to Canada and settled in Manitoba.
