Historic Sites of Manitoba: Bain House (665 Furby Street, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame house on Furby Street in Winnipeg was built in 1893 for land developer Alexander Bain who sold it to Alfred and Flora Houghton in 1910. The Houghtons occupied the home until at least 1957.

In 2010, the house was removed from the Winnipeg Historic Buildings Inventory.
