Historic Sites of Manitoba: Almonte Apartments (138 Young Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick apartment block on Young Street in Winnipeg was designed by local architect Peter Cornelius Samwell and constructed in 1911 by contractor John Edward Wilson at a cost of $45,000. The 89 by 48 foot building contained 15 apartments in its original configuration.
