The Winnipeg Sketch Club was founded in 1914 by School of Art principal Alexander Johnston Musgrove and held its first exhibition in 1916. Its members have included such noted artists as Lionel LeMoine FitzGerald, Frank Johnston, Eric Bergman, and Charles Comfort. In 2018, the Club was presented with an MHS Centennial Organization Award.
