A wooden grain elevator at Winkler, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision, was built around 1912 by the Lake of the Woods Milling Company. Sold to Ogilvie Flour Mills in late 1954, it was re-sold to Manitoba Pool in 1959. Six years later, a new crib elevator was built beside it. At that time, the older elevator was converted into an annex until it was removed. Eventually, operation of the elevator was combined with the nearby Pool B under a single agent. This elevator has since been demolished.
