Historic Sites of Manitoba: Tall Grass Prairie Monument (Regent Avenue, Winnipeg)

Documented in the fall of 1987 as one of the last remaining unploughed plot of land in the City of Winnipeg, this 8.2-hectare property is located on the north side of Regent Avenue at Bradley Street. Cared for the Rotary Club, it was declared a heritage site by Winnipeg City Council on 14 October 1992 and includes an interpretive trail system with benches, signs and brochures. It was officially opened on 23 September 1999.
