Historic Sites of Manitoba: Steel Beam Bridge (Winnipeg River, RM of Lac du Bonnet)

The centre span of this steel beam bridge over the Winnipeg River in the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet was constructed in 1931 by the Dominion Bridge Company of Winnipeg. The general contractor for the project was the Winnipeg firm of Macaw and MacDonald, who were responsible for construction of other bridges around the province.
