Historic Sites of Manitoba: Shergrove School No. 1767 (RM of Alonsa)The Shergrove School District was established in December 1914 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at NE3-24-13W in the Rural Municipality of Alonsa. In 1967, the district was dissolved and its catchment area became part of the Turtle River School Division. Among the teachers of Shergrove School was B. Scott Bateman (1920s).
