Historic Sites of Manitoba: Riverside Apartments (42 Langside Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick and stone apartment building on Langside Street in Winnipeg, measuring 42 feet by 74 feet, was designed by local architect Pall Melsted “Paul” Clemens and built in 1911 by Sveinn Brynjolfsson at a cost of about $35,000. In its original configuration, the building contained 14 apartments. Additional underpinning work on the building was done in 1929.
