Historic Sites of Manitoba: The Red River - A Canadian Heritage River (The Forks, Winnipeg)

This unique wood and metal Canadian Heritage Rivers System monument is located near the north end of the Historic Rail Bridge at The Forks. Pictures of the many human uses of the river are depicted on small metal squares set in a metal grid. The monument was unveiled in June 2007.
