Historic Sites of Manitoba: Manitoba City (Municipality of Pembina)

This ghost town, located immediately north of Manitou, in the Municipality of Pembina, was doomed when the Canadian Pacific Railway passed just south of it, through newly surveyed Manitou. Most of the buildings were moved to Manitou although it is said that some remained as recently as the 1960s.
