Historic Sites of Manitoba: Lowry House (166 Hazel Dell Avenue, Winnipeg)

This 1½-storey dark red brick, wood frame and stucco, English Tudor Revival-style house is on Hazel Dell Avenue in East Kildonan (now part of Winnipeg). Measuring 25 feet by 35 feet, it was built in 1930 by the construction and real estate firm of Lowery Brothers Limited. They sold it to Harry B. Lowry, an apprentice at the Manitoba Telephone System.

At the time of a 2020 site visit, it was slightly modified from its original appearance.
