Formerly located on Flora Avenue in Winnipeg, this 2½-storey wood frame and stone duplex residence, measuring 30 feet by 36 feet, was designed by local architect Max Zev Blankstein and built in 1907 by day labour for owner Jacob Kasler at a cost of about $5,000. The building was demolished in 1972 to make way for the 200-resident Canadian Polish Manor.
