Historic Sites of Manitoba: Greenwood School / École La Source (Shilo, Municipality of North Cypress-Langford)

The two-storey brick Greenwood School building on Canadian Forces Base Shilo, in the Municipality of North Cypress-Langford, was opened in Fall 1963 and administered by the Department of National Defense. Its use as a school ended in Fall 1987. Later amalgamated with O’Kelly School, renamed Edifice Crerar, it was used for French immersion programs. Now called École La Source, the facility is operated by the Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine.
