Historic Sites of Manitoba: Caledonia School No. 1417 (RM of Tache)

The Caledonia School District operated a one-room schoolhouse at W5-9-7E in the Rural Municipality of Tache. In 1959, the district was dissolved and its catchment area became part of the Ste. Anne Consolidated School District and later the Seine River School Division. The former schoolhouse was sold and moved about a mile and a half to the northwest (N49.72287, W96.64023) where it was renovated into a private residence.
