Historic Sites of Manitoba: Baldwin Apartments (205 Arlington Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block at the southeast corner of Arlington Street and Preston Avenue in Winnipeg was built in 1929 by the firm of J. McDiarmid and Company at a cost of about $60,000. The 100 feet by 106 feet structure contained 16 apartments in its original configuration, eight accessible from an entrance on Arlington and eight from an entrance on Preston.
