Historic Sites of Manitoba: Assiniboine Golf Club (2045 Ness Avenue, Winnipeg)

Established in 1917, the Assiniboine Golf Club on Ness Avenue in Winnipeg was designed as an 18-hole course. However, the club gave up half of its layout so the land could be used as military runways in the early 1940s.
