Historic Sites of Manitoba: William Forbes Alloway Statue (Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg)

Located in Assiniboine Park in the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, this statue honours W. F. Alloway, who with a $100,000 cheque in 1921 endowed the Winnipeg Foundation, Canada’s first community foundation. The statue was unveiled in June 1996.
