Historic Sites of Manitoba: Ukrainian Famine-Genocide Plaque (Main Street, Winnipeg)

Unveiled on 24 June 1984, the three plaques (English, French and Ukrainian) with statue (sculpted by Roman Kowal) were installed by the Ukrainian Canadian Committee, Winnipeg Branch, in the gardens on the east side of the City Hall Council Building, 510 Main Street, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Famine-Genocide in Ukraine.
