Historic Sites of Manitoba: Transcona Kinsmen Legacy Park (35 Bayview Place, Winnipeg)

This Winnipeg park, previously known as Bayview Place Park in Transcona, was renamed the Kinsmen Legacy Park and dedicated to volunteers of the former Kinsmen Club of Transcona. A commemorative arch was constructed and a plaque was unveiled in May 2014 by Transcona Ward Councillor Russ Wyatt. Chartered on 1 April 1947 and incorporated on 12 February 1960, the Club was active in the community and the funding of local projects.
