A 25,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at Thornhill, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision in the Rural Municipality of Stanley, was built before 1912 by Ogilvie Flour Mills. Its capacity was increased through the years by the construction of annexes beside it. By November 1959, when it was sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators, becoming Pool B, its capacity was 36,000 bushels. Closed in July 1978, it was later removed from the site.
