Historic Sites of Manitoba: New St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church and Cemetery (Gardenton, RM of Stuartburn)

This Ukrainian Orthodox church in Gardenton, in the Rural Municipality of Stuartburn, was built in 1935 as a replacement for the old church a few kilometers southwest of here. A monument on the ground commemorates parishioners who were killed during military service in the Second World War.
