This monument in the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach bears seven commemorative plaques: victims of violence, victims of war and anarchy (1914-1921), victims of terror (1929-1941), victims of the Second World War (1939-1945), Mennonite women (1929-1953), unknown victims (1914-1953), and Mennonite victims of a violent century.
