Historic Sites of Manitoba: Smellie House (414 Memorial Avenue, Russell, Municipality of Russell-Binscarth)

This house on Memorial Avenue in Russell was built by Robert Charles Smellie, manager of the general store at Russell and five creameries across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Later, it was the home of Joan and Eldon Montgomery and was the childhood home of Jon Montgomery, Olympic Gold Medal Skeleton Champion.

The building is listed in the Russell Historical Walking Tour.
