A wooden grain elevator in Rounthwaite, on the CNR Wawanesa Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Oakland-Wawanesa, was built in 1928 and operated by Manitoba Pool Elevators. A balloon annex was built beside it in 1951. When the railway line was abandoned in December 1983, the elevator was closed and demolished.
