Historic Sites of Manitoba: Public Safety Building (151 Princess Street, Winnipeg)Built in 1965, this six-storey concrete and stone building on Princess Street in Winnipeg was designed in the brutalist style of modernism by Libling Michener and Associates and clad in Tyndall Stone. It was used as the headquarters for the Winnipeg Police Service from 1966 to 2016. It was demolished, along with its associated parking garage, in November 2020.
