Historic Sites of Manitoba: Oodena - Celebration Circle (The Forks, Winnipeg)

A plaque at a site at The Forks in Winnipeg commemorates the official opening of Oodena - Celebration Circle on 21 September 1997. Designed by landscape architect Garry Hilderman, Oodena is the Cree word for “centre of the city” and the site features sculptures, a naked eye observatory and a ceremonial fire pit.
