Historic Sites of Manitoba: Old Marney (RM of Yellowhead)

A sign in the Rural Municipality of Yellowhead, erected by the Ellice Trail Community Land Conservancy, marks the site of the community of Old Marney. Located on the Fort Ellice Trail between 1851 and 1882, it consisted of a store, post office, blacksmith shop, brickyard, and hotel. Nothing remains at the site today.
