The Oak Creek School District was established formally in February 1883 and a schoolhouse operated at 9-7-15 West of the Principal Meridian in what is now the Rural Municipality of Glenboro-South Cypress. In May 1914, the district was consolidated into the Stockton Consolidated School District No. 1748.
