Historic Sites of Manitoba: Newhaven Apartments (199 Colony Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block on Colony Street in Winnipeg was built in 1928 by James Alexander Matthews at a cost of about $90,000. The 100 foot by 70 foot building contained 30 apartments in its original configuration.
