Historic Sites of Manitoba: McKenzie Duplex (77-79 Hallet Street, Winnipeg)

This two-storey brick duplex on Hallet Street in Winnipeg was built around 1885 for Alexander G. McKenzie, who also owned a duplex next door, at 73-75 Hallet, since demolished. Through the years, the building has had numerous owners and tenants. In 1935, the structure was renovated into six separate residential suites.
