Historic Sites of Manitoba: Madill House (56 Bay Street, Gladstone, Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone)

In 1900, farmer Thomas Madill (1846-?) built this two-storey brick house in Gladstone. He and his wife had moved from Ireland to Ontario, then continued their journey westwards to settle at Gladstone in 1879. He sold the house and farm to Donald Adamson in 1913 who then sold it to J. K. McLennan eight years later.
