Historic Sites of Manitoba: Wiley Low Grain Elevator / Federal Grain Elevator / Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator B (La Riviere, Municipality of Pembina)

A 30,000-bushel wooden grain elevator in La Riviere, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Pembina, was built sometime before 1911 and operated by the Grain Growers Grain Company (United Grain Growers) until 1924 when it was purchased by Wiley Low and Company. Sold to Federal Grain in 1932, it was re-sold to Manitoba Pool in 1972 and later demolished.
