Historic Sites of Manitoba: Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator (La Riviere, Municipality of Pembina)

A wooden grain elevator at La Riviere, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Pembina, was built by Manitoba Pool Elevators between February and October 1994, joining an annex from 1990 that had been part of a prior elevator built in 1980. Closed around 2001, the elevator, annex, and three steel tanks were moved to Somerset in November 2004.
