In 1926, a Canadian Pacific Railway type 15 station was built at Lac du Bonnet, on the CPR Lac du Bonnet Division, to replace an earlier building. It was subsequently moved to Milner Ridge in the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet and used as a retreat by the Sisters of the Holy Cross.
