This one-storey building on McArthur Avenue in Lac du Bonnet, was originally built as the Lac du Bonnet Memorial Hall. On 26 September 1945, a charter for the Lac du Bonnet Legion Branch No. 164 was received and, on 11 March 1948, the branch rented space in the building.
In 1967, the town took control of the hall from the Memorial Centre Committee and, in 1972, sold it to the Legion Branch. In 1977, the building was expanded at a cost of about $40,000.
