Komarno School was established in June 1913. At some point in its history, the original school building was supplemented by a second structure, used for teaching senior grades. Both were later replaced by the present building, erected in 1958. It became part of Interlake School Division No. 21 in April 1967. The school closed in June 1989 and its building was abandoned. It was demolished sometime around 2016.
