Historic Sites of Manitoba: Iroquois School No. 303 (RM of Rosedale)

The Iroquois School District was formed on 16 June 1885 and a log structure was erected at SE10-15-16 west of the Principal Meridian, in the Rural Municipality of Rosedale. It was eventually replaced by a frame building at NE10-15-16W which, in turn, was replaced in 1950. The district was dissolved in January 1968 and joined the Beautiful Plains School Division. The schoolhouse was sold later that year and moved to Russell.
