Historic Sites of Manitoba: Highworth Apartments (222 Osborne Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block on Osborne Street in Winnipeg, measuring 65 feet by 130 feet, was designed by real estate developer Richard Henry Lear and built in 1914 by Sigurdson and Company at a cost of about $50,000. The building contained four stores on its main floor and 21 apartments on its upper two floors.
