The Greenbank School District was formally established in April 1925 and a school building operated in the southwest quarter of 8-6-1 east of the Principal Meridian, in the Rural Municipality of Morris. In 1967, the district was dissolved and students from the area went to Rosenort Consolidated School No. 2455. In September 2015, a sign commemorating the school was erected at its former site.
