Historic Sites of Manitoba: Canadian Grain Commission Building (303 Main Street, Winnipeg)

This sixteen-storey, steel-reinforced concrete building at the northeast corner of Main Street and Water Avenue in Winnipeg was designed by the local architectural firm of Smith Carter Parkin. It was built between 1971 and 1972, at a cost of $5.8 million, by Poole Construction to provide office and laboratory space for the Canadian Grain Commission.
