This monument in the Municipality of WestLake-Gladstone commemorates pioneers who settled in this area starting in 1871. At one time, the community of Golden Stream comprised a Canadian National Railway station, blacksmith shop, stores, post office, and school. All are gone now except for an abandoned church building.
