Historic Sites of Manitoba: Elm Apartments (101 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame building on Hespeler Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 32 feet by 40 feet, was designed and built in 1923 by the construction firm of Grisdale and Gordon at a cost of about $6,000. Originally a private residence, it was converted to an apartment block in 1928.
