This two-storey brick and stone block on Burrows Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 73 feet by 28 feet, was designed by architects David William Fair Nichols and James Pender West, and built in 1913 by contractor M. Hirsch at a cost of about $10,000. The building contained five apartments in its original configuration.
