Historic Sites of Manitoba: Eddystone School No. 1873 (RM of Alonsa)

The Eddystone School District was established in March 1917 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at NW36-24-13W in the Rural Municipality of Alonsa. In 1967, the district was dissolved and its catchment area became part of the Turtle River School Division.

Among the teachers of Eddystone School was Joseph Myrs “Joe” Ptashynski.
