This three-storey brick block on Vaughan Street in Winnipeg was designed by local architect James William Hawker. It was built in 1928, at a cost of about $65,000, by the Moxam Construction Company for owner John Harold Wiltse. The 114 foot by 48 foot building contained 29 apartments in its original configuration, each with two, three, or four rooms. It has 31 apartments now.
