A monument in front of the Churchill Town Centre Complex in Churchill commemorates its construction by the federal and provincial governments. The facility was dedicated on 24 April 1976 at a ceremony attended by Premier Ed Schreyer and Minister of Public Works Charles M. “Bud” Drury (1912-1991).
